Telebelt Mobile Conveyors- TB200 backfill Mining Vent Shaft Collapse Recovery

The TB200 was used to backfill this underground mining vent shaft collapse. The vent shaft is 260m deep and the collapse happend 30m from the ground. The hole was 30m deep and 30m wide. The ground was unstable and we had to be 30m from the edge to fill to keep our 1:1 scale. We were conveying 100mm minus rock and the original design had a concrete pump followwing us to help stabilise the rock. We changed that idea to have the concrete pump place the grout like concrete on our feeder belt on top of the rock. This made the mix constant and eliminated any risk of the two booms colliding in the hole. The mix was 1 part concrete and 2 parts rock.
