We love a good dipping sauce when it comes to our pupus or food in general! Here in Hawai’i we love a good shoyu sauce that gives some heat with big Ono flavor! Hawaiian chili peppers are spicy so of course use your best judgement when using them. A lot of the heat comes from the seeds so if your not a fan of big heat then keep the pepper whole. If you want it spicy like us chop up your peppers and give it a good smash with the Hawaiian sea salt. Use this Ono condiment on fried or raw fish, smoke meat, laulau you name it!
