If you need to clone your Windows OS\system drive on to another computer, you can use the free NIUBI Partition Editor software to migrate your operating system to a different hard drive. We tried this procedure on a new drive with no volume created and also on a drive with a volume created and ended up with the extra drive letters as seen in the video so you may have the same issue. Even with this issue, you can remove all the drive letters except on the one used by the EFI partition. There is an option to remove this partition but that will most likely make your computer not boot.
