Top 10 Favorite Features of The Rio Grande Plan

The Rio Grande Plan is a vision for the future of transit and development in downtown Salt Lake City. By relocating the railroad tracks on the west side of downtown into a below-grade 'train box,' Salt Lake City will be able to close 4 1/2 dangerous railroad crossing, open 50 acres of industrial land to new urban development, better connect the long-divided communities on opposite sides of the tracks, and restore the historic Rio Grande Depot as the city's main transportation hub.
