Lead the way with service even when you’re not sure who’s going to show up. I’m just going to share one little story about that. This came up recently with a one-on-one client I’m working with. She had produced something wonderful, and so many people signed up. But just two people actually showed up. We’ve all had that experience, right? She could have felt sorry for herself. Instead, she said there are two human beings in front of me who need what I have. They showed up. She delivered the entire workshop to two people, who encouraged her to do the workshop again. People need this, they told her. Two weeks later, 2,000 people showed up. Every freaking person you help matters — every single one. Listen to who you’re advocating for. Believe in what you do. Use your talents to the fullest.
