Lifting a JLG Skytrak with no power. Big Flipper skying a....Skytrak! Our good buddy over at Socal Equipment & Repair gave us this heavy duty job. He always gives us these because he knows we can handle, no matter the environment or weight. This one was fun because it was in the middle of a building project, and broken down head in PLUS stuck in mud due to the recent rain. Alex was dispatched in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator, to make short work of this job. Space was tight, so the best course was to park parallel with the street and work the job off the side. Once it was in a favorable position, Alex "skied" the Skytrak and had to rotate it 180 degrees to set it directly onto the company Landoll. From there, it went to a shop for repairs. We get these style jobs quite often, and I always love tackling them when they're in tough environments. No crazy power lines here, but the tight squeeze made Alex have to re-rig to do the job safely and without damage.
