5 Seen Wanderung Pizol | Schweiz

The 5-Lakes Hike is one of the most beautiful panoramic hikes in Switzerland. I took the Wangs-Maienberg-Furt cable car in Vilters-Wangs, in the Canton of St. Gallen, which took me to the hotel Furt. From here, the Furt-Gaffia cable car took me to Gaffia restaurant. This is where I started the hike, directed to the Pizol hut. Before arriving, I took a small detour to check the first lake out, the Wangsersee (2206 m.) on the Pizol high plateau. Following a steep ascent I arrived at Wildseeluggen, a saddle at 2492 meters with a breathtaking view over the second lake, the striking turquoise-colored Wildsee (2438 m.) with the Pizol glacier and summit in the background. From here, a host descent leads to the Schottensee (2335 m.). Another ascent follows until you reach the Schwarzplangg ridge, from where you have the first glimpse of Schwarzsee (2377 m.). The last scent leads you to Rossstall, a very wide summit at 2456 meters. From here, following the ridge towards west you descent until you reach the last lake, the Baschalvasee (2174 m.). An easy descent brought me then back to the Gaffia restaurant, where I took the cable car to return to town. Hike of about 16 km and 1000 meters of elevation gain. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- L'escursione dei 5 laghi è una delle più belle escursioni panoramiche della Svizzera. Ho preso la funivia Wangs-Maienberg-Furt a Vilters-Wangs, nel Cantone di San Gallo, che mi ha portato all'hotel Furt. Da qui, la funivia Furt-Gaffia mi ha portato al ristorante Gaffia. È qui che ho iniziato l'escursione, diretta al rifugio Pizol. Prima di arrivare, ho fatto una piccola deviazione per vedere il primo lago, il Wangsersee (2206 m.) sull'altopiano del Pizol. Dopo una ripida salita sono arrivato a Wildseeluggen, una sella a 2492 metri con una vista mozzafiato sul secondo lago, il suggestivo Wildsee (2438 m.) di colore turchese con il ghiacciaio e la vetta del Pizol sullo sfondo. Da qui, una ripida discesa conduce allo Schottensee (2335 m.). Segue un'altra salita fino a raggiungere la cresta Schwarzplangg, da dove si intravede per la prima volta lo Schwarzsee (2377 m.). L'ultimo tratto conduce a Rossstall, un'ampia cima a 2456 metri. Da qui, seguendo la cresta verso ovest, si scende fino a raggiungere l'ultimo lago, il Baschalvasee (2174 m.). Una facile discesa mi ha riportato poi al ristorante Gaffia, dove ho preso la funivia per tornare in paese.
