Yubeng is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Yunnan, China. It has 4 well-established trails (hard → easy): Sacred Lake, Ice Lake, Nise, Sacred Waterfall There's also a strong hiking culture that makes it easy to meet other hikers along the way. You’ll find hotels, hostels, restaurants, and even cozy cafés, a whole civilization inside the mountains. But I also noticed trash along the trail and the sound of ongoing construction. Yubeng may no longer be the secluded paradise it once was.
