The competition ends with solo recital of the laureates in Concert Hall of State Music School in Krzeszowice. The competition is an unique initiative based on Singing Without Borders ideology. The festival is open to everyone who loves singing - regardless of age, education or origin. The essential part of the workshops are team activities with vocal coaches, pianists and instrumental ensemble. The planned open-air workshops in Chochołów are an important element of the festival, creating enviorment for an international and cultural integration. Naming the Competiton after such an outstanding artist as Monika Swarowska - Walawska wasn't a coincidence. Her authority both on stage and in the academic community had an extreme impact on development of the vocal culture in Cracow, with which the artist tied her career. Furthermore Miranda Exner and Joanna Petryka -Wawrowska, who over the years have been singing in our team, are the first vocal graduates of Monika Swarowska - Walawska.This is our great success - over 160 people have signed up for the first edition of the competition!
