Severe crouch gait is part of the natural history of spastic diplegia & quadriplegia. It is essential to identify the cause of crouching in a child with cerebral palsy the planning of treatment can be done. in most cases, the happening of severe crouching can be prevented by early identification, proper bracing, therapy, weight maintenance, and avoidance of muscle surgery.
