Chocolate Custard Dessert Recipe Ingredients: 550 mL Milk 1.4 oz/40g Sugar 4 Large Egg Yolks 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract 1.1 oz/30g Cornstarch 6 oz/170g Chocolate Steps: 1-Melt the chocolate and set aside 2-In a saucepan ,add 3/4 of the milk, the sugar, and the vanilla extract 3-Add the egg yolks to the remaining milk, then the cornstarch and mix well 4-Bring the milk to a boil over medium heat 5-Add some of the boiling milk to the milk/yolk mixture and stir, then add it back to the milk and stir until it thickens 6-Remove from heat and transfer into two bowls,cover one bowl and set aside 7-Add the melted chocolate to the second bowl and mix 8-Transfer to a pastry bag, and pipe the chocolate mixture into the cups and set aside Custard Ingredients: 4 Large Egg Whites 2.1 oz/60 g Sugar 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract 0.2 oz/7g Gelatin 50mL Water Steps: 1-Add some water to the gelatin, mix and set aside 2-Whisk the egg whites with the sugar until the sugar dissolves and the mixture reaches soft peaks 3-boil the remaining water and add it to the gelatin, mix until dissolved 4-Add the gelatin to the milk/yolk mixture, then the vanilla extract and mix 5-Incorporate it into the egg whites in two batches, gently folding them in 6-Transfer the mixture to a pastry bag and pipe it on top of the chocolate 7-Refrigerate for two hours 8-Brush with syrup made by boiling 75 mL of water with 4.4 oz/125g of sugar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 9-Decorate with chocolate of your choice Enjoy!
