The Global Peacekeepers Volunteer Initiative (GPVI) is a global platform created to mobilize SDGs Hero volunteers across the world to implement targeted Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) projects within their own communities as “sustainability starts with you” The initiative aims to bridge the gap between high-level policy frameworks and real, visible action at the grassroots level. GPVI operates under the slogan “Small Actions, Big Change: Turning SDGs into Reality.” This concept is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, which emphasizes continuous and never-ending improvement. GPVI believes that small, consistent, and focused actions can collectively lead to transformative and lasting change. The ideas presented were innovative, practical, and community-focused, clearly demonstrating the power of youth, volunteerism, and collective action in turning the SDGs into reality. Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, President of UNPKFC, an exemplary and visionary leader, warmly acknowledged the valuable contributions of everyone involved in the training and workshop. She also presented awards to individuals dedicated to peacebuilding, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and capacity-building through SDG training initiatives.” After the training session, the UNPKFC and IG-SI teams conducted a debriefing and celebrated the successful completion of the training workshop.
