If you feel you're ready to hit up Gongora, then go back to the Tower of Mirrors, Go under water and face him once and for all. I have got ALL the achievements that I can, so I am ready to face him. I feel that this game is slightly flawed in the way you are able to finish the game with such powerful characters. IF you were one of those people that wanted to completely finish that game and get all 1000/1000 achievements, then your party may be extremely powerful. With that said, Gongora is way too easy as a final boss. It's a double boss situation once again. First of all, you have to fight the Luminous Magic Beast. It's HP is 55, 860. I'd say any level over 55 is way too easy to face the final battle sequence. My characters are all at Level 99, so it's not much of a fight. Tips - Try having the Absorb skills. Of course, if you fought the Immortal in the backyard, you were able to learn "Absorb All Elements" skill. Ailment Resistance is also a top priority as Gongora uses Petrification. It regards to rings, if you feel you need to attack head on with special rings, consider anti-dragon rings against the beast. I myself use the Combo attacks + Powerus spells to defeat him. Combo's damage is much more powerful, and rings do not affect skill usage. Your lone mortal should either be Sed or Tolten. If you bring Tolten in, let him use the Quad-Element Amulet as he's the only mortal who can use special accessories. I myself being Sed to the fights, as he can use 3 accessories at a time, making him really effective compared to Tolten. I use the spell-casters Ming and Sarah to cast All-Generatus, Coverus and All-Powerus while the front 3 attack at full strength. Use Kaim and Seth to activate the skill Combo and just let Sed attack normally. I recommend just sticking to physical attacks, since the Beast can absorb magic after it's Ray Charge. Afterwards, a scripted battle occurs. It's basically talking, the party getting damaged and the mortals using their best assets to help out. Be sure to check Gongora's elemental skill frequently as he is able to change his type before each turn. Gongora also uses his Rest-All spell to rid your party of stat boosting.
