The final complaint to be voted on against Jon Arguello at the 5/17/22 School Board Meeting was a complaint filed by John "Batman" Kalish of "A Hero for Kids". Judie Overcash, Andrea Barba, and Mr. Kalish himself all spoke, asking the Board to censure Mr. Arguello and send the results of the investigation to Governor DeSantis. Mr. Kalish was adamant that the 1,000 pages of evidence was something that couldn't be ignored. Mr. Arguello then spoke, saying the investigation was conflating two different issues, and the findings in the investigation were based on things the investigator admittedly didn't actually look in to. He then said that the 1,000 pages of evidence that Mr. Kalish referenced was probably things he submitted of Mr. Kalish harassing him. He then asked Mr. Kalish if he ran the Facebook page "The True Osceola Politics", which led to a back and forth between Mr. Arguello and Mr. Kalish, that ended with Chairwoman Terry Castillo interjecting. Julius Melendez made a motion to close this complaint, saying the findings in the complaint said it was based on something that had nothing to do with the School Board. That motion failed. Clarence Thacker then made a motion to censure and send the complaint to the Governor, which was seconded by Robert Bass. It passed 3-2 #OsceolaPolitics
