Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women DESCRIPTION: Bitter gourd karam is an excellent and wonderful dish for diabetic patients, prepared with bitter gourd, peanuts, red chilli, roasted gram and spices. INGREDIENTS: Urad dal 1 tbs Chana dal 1 tbs Dry red chillies 5 nos Garlic 5-6 nos Coriander seeds ½ tsp Tamarind 4-5 gms Bitter gourd 3-4 nos Salt To taste Oil 4-5 tbs METHOD: 1. Take a pan and add urad dal, chana dal, dry red chillies, garlic, coriander seeds, tamarind and dry roast it. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add bitter gourd round slices and shallow fry until brown colour and transfer into plate. 3. Take a mixie jar and add dry roasted ingredients, salt and blend it once. 4. To it add fried bitter gourd and blend into powder. 5. Now bitter gourd karam is ready to serve with rice.
