As he looks back on the first part of his surprising journey, Darrell shares the insights that come from a life lived at the intersection of personal studio painting and the high-octane world of film production. With his duel career, Darrell offers a rare and thoughtful perspective on how humans create and consume art. --- 🎬 Guest Bio For nearly two decades, Darrell Warner worked as a commercial illustrator for a variety of high-profile clients. In the late 1990s, he transitioned into film, where he remains today, contributing to over 50 Hollywood productions, including *Pirates of the Caribbean*, *Captain America*, *Wonka*, and *Wicked*. This film work has given him the freedom to pursue his own artistic passions. The COVID-19 pandemic nudged him to return to his core beliefs and artistic roots. Since then, his still life watercolors have received international recognition and numerous society awards. Originally trained in oils and portraiture, Darrell discovered watercolor at age 18. As he puts it: "One particularly ambitious painting at the age of 18 convinced me that I had found my medium.
