We finally did it -- We installed an upgrade to our 1965 Clark Cortez motorhome that we've been itching to do, and that is replace our vintage RV's shocks. By now you will have met my Englishman, Andy, who is also the illustrator of our stories. We met in search of a hiking and backpacking partner when he came to America for a six-month work placement. During those first talks all the way to now, we have focused on two dreams: Mine, to travel and his, to restore an old vehicle. Saying our dreams aloud somehow welded them together and that is when the idea of overhauling an old motorhome came to be. Here, we purchased a rare 1965 Clark Cortez -- the first motorhome in America with front-wheel drive. We are working to renovate it -- doing all the work ourselves -- before we hit the road!
