Benny worked patrol in the high crime county areas where he developed his expertise with Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, KKK and Skinheads. He subsequently promoted to Detective. As a detective, he investigated numerous high-profile cases. Benny’s expertise is investigations. Former Detective Sergeant David Contreras has thirty-two years of combined law enforcement experience. He began his law enforcement career with the California Department of Corrections where he specialized in street and prison gangs. David transferred to the San Diego Police Department in 1988. During his tenure with SDPD, David worked patrol in Logan Heights for five years, community relations, gangs, narcotics, internal affair, Special Assistant to two Chiefs of Police and Criminal Intelligence assigned to Mexico. David’s expertise is in prison gangs, street gangs, narcotics, community relations and policing and Mexico past and present criminal and political trends.
