Cluster Analysis Intro and Demo

Cluster analysis lets analysts identify related individuals, such as customers, given the characteristics you have captured as data through your interactions. In this movie, I’ll provide a quick introduction on how to implement cluster analysis in Excel. My goal isn’t to convince you that Excel is the best tool for this type of analysis, but rather to explain the process so you know what a machine learning algorithm implemented in Python or R is doing behind the scenes. NOTE: I say that the length of a right triangle’s sides are “a squared” and “b squared”, but the actual lengths are “a” and “b” which are then squared as part of the Pythagorean Theorem.
