SEPTEMBER 24th - 29th, 2011. A 5 night, 6 day, 53 mile adventure down The Green River in Southeastern Utah. Most of the video you see here is the "Stillwater Canyon" stretch of the Green River or what most people call The Lower Half. Most of this section is part of the Canyonlands National Park and requires a permit due to the high amount of traffic and canoeing adventureurs. The entire stretch from the town of Green River to The Confluence is 120 miles and is sutible for a canoe as there are no rapids to swamp you out. This makes for a very calm and enjoyable canoe trip!
