Following the destruction of Metrobus' hydroliner 6069 to a devastating fire, Wrightbus has taken the decision to order metrobus to recall all of their single decker hydroliners for battery investigations. This has left a 42 vehicle deficit in the fleet. As a result, in order to keep services that would otherwise be cancelled online, metrobus are pulling in emergency loans left and right, even going as far to use an open topper as a loan on the 23. But, in my opinion, the most interesting loan is this Salisbury Reds Plaxton President, which predates the recalled hydroliners by over 20 years! So when I saw this was operating with metrobus, I knew I had to get it.
