So we’re back, We have Andrea in today and we’re going to do gel nail extensions. I’ve prepped Andreas’s nails without bleeding Yay and I’m going to start by removing my gloves to put the forms on because the forms will stick to my gloves. I’m then going to apply Nail Prep, Primer and then Bond Booster and I’m leaving the thumb for now. I’m going to prep my brush with the gel and then do a slip layer of gel, so a thin layer to connect that contact area. I’ll cure that, apply the bulk of my product and then I’m going to encapsulate in clear, curing in between layers. Whilst it’s still warm, I’m going to pinch it to give it a lovely c-curve. I’m going to use clear as my base on the next nail and I prefer that so I’ll repeat on all the nails. Once all my nails are sculpted I can file the nails and you can finish these with a design or you can just top coat them like I did because it’s already got that lovely shimmer.
