The Molly Stark Hospital is about to be torn down!

Hello and welcome to another edition of North Coast History and Haunts. Today we have recent news that the Stark Parks system has plans to tear down Molly Stark Hospital. Im not 100% of a timeframe but it stands to reason that it would sooner rather than later. Get your pictures while you can! Molly Stark Hospital opened in `1929 and served different functions in its lifetime. It closed for good in 1995 and has been largely vacant for a lot of those years. The weather and vandals have taken a major toll on the once proud building. Asbestos was removed recently and tours used to be offered but now the Park System struggles to keep people out of the building and has become a major liability for them. They don't have enough money to rehab it and not enough to tear it down. There are people that want to fix it up. Call the Stark Parks Dept. and let your voice be heard.
