She runs a small business and couldn't be happier. We talk about how Josephine came to find herself in India, what difficulties she's faced with living here, and what it is about Varkala, India that offers a sense of belonging. We also talk with an 89 year-old lady who has lived here for nine years with these two women being an example for other older western women thinking of perhaps making move to but might have reservations about it due to their age. Katies is also another young woman spending time in India who is also kind enough to have a chat with me about what she's doing here. Next it's a walk along the cliffs of Varkala where I meet two young Indian women whose lives I ask about, what their dreams are, whether they want to marry, and other things. Two young Indian men also give me their opinions on life as we pass each other on the path that leads us across the top of the cliffs. One man I meet on today's walk is a local lifeguard who explains his job, how many people he's saved from the surf, and which country has the best and worst swimmers.
