In this video, we’ll start by showing you how to use a clutch puller to remove the drive clutch from the machine. Once we get it off the Ranger, we can take a closer look at the sheaves to determine if the clutch needs to be replaced. Next, John will show you how to prepare a new drive clutch by removing the spring and the weights from the old drive clutch and transferring them to the new unit. After we get the new drive clutch assembled, we’ll prepare the surfaces of the sheaves so that they will properly engage the drive belt. Finally, we’ll install the new clutch.
