In this video I will find the sum of 3 simple sequences, some with odd amounts of terms and some with even amounts of terms. I will also mention the importance of finding the central terms, because those carry important information: the primordial SUM. After this, we have to figure out how many terms are in this sequence. Sometimes it can be tricky to find how many terms and that is why I will make another video just to teach you how to find the amount of terms on ANY given arithmetic sequence. In the second part of this video, I will deduce the Gauss formula, explaining WHY each term is there on the formula. To make sure you understood, I will end the video with 2 more sequences so you can practice and apply the Gauss Sum formula. Those 2 examples will also be resolved in the video.
