Redwood National Park, Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail was our first stop of the morning on our first day in Redwood National Park. Please subscribe to our channel of you enjoy exploring our parks and public lands! In stopping at the Visitor Center, we found out that there was a Ranger Talk at Ladybird Johnson Grove where there was old growth forest. We headed up to wait for the ranger and get the lay of the land. The fog was thick and we were worried that the views would be lacking. That was NOT the case. The fog only enhanced the views! We are thrilled that this trail was part of our travels to America's National Parks! Trail Description of Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail from the NPS website: "Situated around the dedication site of Redwood National Park, this moderate walk winds through stands of old-growth redwood, Douglas-fir, and tanoak. A brochure at the trailhead corresponds to marked posts along the trail and guides you along this historically significant route. In spring, rhododendrons and azaleas abound, and during the autumn months, vine and big-leaf maple reveal their bold colors."
