4 Major Banks in Thailand Temporarily Shut Down Apps and ATMs for 6 Hours

Attention all bank customers! Four major banks in Thailand will be undergoing system maintenance, impacting various financial transactions. Plan your transactions accordingly as apps, ATMs, debit, and credit cards will be unavailable nationwide for 6 hours. The affected banks include Bangkok Bank, Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), Krungsri Bank, and Kiatnakin Phatra Bank. Each bank has announced temporary closures to upgrade their systems and improve service efficiency. Bangkok Bank will be offline from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025. During this time, customers won't be able to use mobile banking, Bualuang iBanking, Bualuang Phone, deposit/withdraw at banking agents, use Bangkok Bank ATMs, or make PromtPay, QR Payment, and other electronic transactions. BAAC will close its ATM/CDM systems from 1:30 AM to 3:30 AM on the same day for system upgrades. Krungsri Bank will suspend its krungsri app and Krungsri Biz Online services from 12:30 AM to 6:00 AM on November 9 for system maintenance. Kiatnakin Phatra Bank will shut down its KKP Mobile banking and KKP BIZ-e BANKING platforms from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM on November 8 and 9 for system upgrades.
