Paradox was kind enough to give me a free evaluation copy of Surviving Mars (a game by Haemimont Games). I was inspired by Skye Storme's "Hardest" 485% difficulty series so I thought I would try this 535% setting out. I didn't get a nice starting area but there have been some interesting breakthroughs so far. Cold snaps are going to be fun to deal with. In this episode: I manage to finish up the marsgate storyline and build my first wonder: the mohole mine. This thing churns out 50 metal and 20 rare metal per day without workers! It also never runs out of metal so it's pretty amazing if you want to build big. Next episode I'll try to get the space elevator built. This will cut our import costs in half.
