Computing VLOG! BOOK 8088 -Version 2- Another look at a modern IBM PC/XT Compatible with Extras!

Join me once more in my ramblings as I review the BOOK 8088 IBM PC/XT - Version 2! An i8088 CPU based mini laptop, with only 640k ram, no UMA, 512mb CF HDD, Aparent USB drive support, 3 ISA ports, a BIOS of questionable legality, tiny 7 inch screen, AND NOW with added VGA, RS-232 Serial and Parallel port, is the BOOK 8088 Version 2. As fate would hate it, I just start getting serious with a design to add a serial port to the original book8088 and this Version 2 pops up in an AliEpxress advert! And it has Serial! and VGA! Without thinking about it too much incase I changed my mind, I ordered one - being almost $100 cheaper than the original was convincing enough and within 2 weeks I had the yellow tape covered box sitting on my bench. This time I actually tried to use the USB port - and what a headache. The supplied driver doesn't work and was never even updated since the version 1! Like seriously, did the creators even try to use the USB port? clearly not. Anyhow, lets take a look at this improved Franken PC/XT and work out if I could I see myself actually using this for some on-the-go DOS gaming? Ill do a more in depth video in future, this was just an initial tinkering with a new toy.
