I dunno just something about the fact that they were initially chosen to be fake soulmates in order to torture each other with how different they were, but over time they realized that it was those differences that completed each other and that they were in fact soulmates for real... IT JUST MAKES ME EMOTIONAL THINKING ABOUT IT OK. Chidi and Eleanor found each other over and over again 802 times over 300 years, then stayed together for thousands of Jeremy Bearimy's.. that shit's beautiful :') The series finale broke me initially, like obviously I was hoping they were gonna walk through the door together, but then I realized that this was the way it always had to be. Chidi was finally strong and confident enough in his decisions because of Eleanor, and Eleanor finally became 100% selfless because of Chidi and made the ultimate sacrifice of letting him go when he was ready. I. JUST. It was beautiful. And it's ok.. I'm sure their particles will find each other someday LOL. Just let me have that shhh.
