A visit to the Philippine Biodome, a diverse urban sanctuary in Manila

The Philippine Biodome is the newest attraction of Manila Ocean Park, which is located just in the heart of Metro Manila particularly Ermita Manila. It was opened last quarter of 2024 and offers a unique blend of entertainment, education, and conservation . Our visit was made more unique and special because we had the chance to see in person the famous host and actor. Dingdong Dantes who is filming an episode for Amazing Earth. The tour starts with the saltwater Crocodile which is 14 feet long. The Green wall has a wide variety of vertical plants and its cascading fountain added more to its scenic beauty. The birds exhibit started off with the Budgerigar, small but charming birds, then the Rufous Hornbill, Sun Conure, and many more. Aside from birds, there is also a display of freshwater animals, where Tilapia is present among many others. Mallard Duck are cutest when it's swimming or bathing, and the seals are so actively swimming and diving. The lady staff feeding the otters were so smiling and happily doing her job. And lastly, the Northern lights or Aurora Borealis feels was the highlight of the visit.
