This Fleischmann Piccolo N gauge locomotive, running number 537752 (model 7124), came into the workshop for a standard service after a little accident.. During inspection it was discovered that one of the internal wires had come loose, affecting electrical pickup. The chassis was carefully dismantled, the wire was re-soldered and secured, and the locomotive received a full service including cleaning of wheelsets and pickups, removal of old lubrication, and fresh lubrication of the drivetrain. Once reassembled and tested, the locomotive was returned to smooth and reliable operation. This video shows the locomotive running on the layout following the service and repair work.
