Pass through Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, and cities of Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli and Saharanpur. two spurs and It connect to Char Dham Highway in Uttarakhand. Its an under-construction, 210 kilometres (130 mi) long, • 12/6 lane access-controlled expressway, • connect Delhi, NCR with Dehradun( capital of Uttarakhand). • pass through the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, • Pass through Cities like Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli and Saharanpur It will have two spurs, or link roads, to ensure connectivity with cities lying nearby to its route: • one 50.7-kilometre-long , six-lane Saharanpur–Roorkee–Haridwar Expressway, • and another 121-kilometre-long (75 mi), six-lane Ambala-Shamli Expressway.[9] It will reduce both travel time and distance, from around 5-6 hours to only 2.5 hours, Distance from around 280 kilometres (170 mi) to 210 kilometres (130 mi). Earlier ETA to completed was January 2024 but now it seems by end of December 2024 It connect to Char Dham Highway in Uttarakhand. 12-kilometre-long elevated corridor will be constructed over the Rajaji National Park to protect wildlife, thus it will be the second highway in India to have a wildlife protection corridor . After completion of this expressway, the distance between the two cities would be reduced from 235 kilometres to 210 kilometres Length: 210 kilometres Number of lanes: six lanes (extendable to eight lanes) The expressway is proposed to developed in three phases: • Phase I - brownfield: 32-kilometre-long - Akshardham (Delhi) and proposed EPE Junction. • Phase II - greenfield: between EPE Junction in Delhi and Ganeshpur near Saharanpur • Phase III - greenfield: between Ganeshpur near Saharanpur bypass and Dehradun. This expressway connects with the following: • Eastern Peripheral Expressway between Delhi and Baghpat. • Ambala-Shamli Expressway • Saharanpur-Haridwar Expressway, from southeast of Saharanpur • Delhi Meerut Expressway is starting point of Delhi Dehradun Expressway. दिल्ली-देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे का निर्माण तेजी से अपने अंतिम चरण में है। अब दो important parts को December में जनता के लिए खोलने की तैयारी की जा रही है। इस एक्सप्रेसवे का निर्माण उत्तर प्रदेश के बागपत जिले तक किया जा रहा है। Delhi से कनेक्टिविटी को और मजबूत करेगा। इस हाईटेक एक्सप्रेसवे की कुल लंबाई 32 किलोमीटर है। जिसमें से 17 किलोमीटर का हिस्सा Delhi में Elevated होगा, जो घनी आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों में ट्रैफिक की भीड़ से राहत दिलाएगा। अक्षरधाम से खजूरी पुश्ता और खेकड़ा तक के हिस्से का 97% से अधिक निर्माण कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। लोड टेस्टिंग का काम चल रहा है, जिसमें किसी भी प्रकार की खामी नहीं मिली है। इसके अलावा शेष 15 किलोमीटर का हिस्सा गाजियाबाद और बागपत की सीमाओं से होकर गुजरेगा। एक्सप्रेसवे बागपत के खेकड़ा में ईस्टर्न पेरिफेरल एक्सप्रेसवे से जोड़ा जाएगा।
