UNIQUE YURT GLAMPING EXPERIENCE IN VANCOUVER ISLAND BC: Airbnb Yurt Tour Canada // Nat and Max

In today’s BC travel vlog, we explored one of the most unique Airbnb's in British Columbia, Canada. Our day started off waking up from our tiny home where we spent the night in a Yurt. It was definitely one of our unique Airbnb experience in BC that we have ever had! The Yurt is the perfect tiny house to do glamping if you’re looking for fun things to do in Vancouver Island. Our Airbnb Yurt was cozy and warm with insulated walls and roof. The Yurt is much bigger than what we have imagined, that there was more than enough space for the two of us. It has a one single-over-double bunk bed, one giant bean bag that can also double as a bed, dressers, a coat rack, bathrobes, sleeping bags, a separate private bathroom and so much more. Spending the night in a Yurt was such a great experience, the site pretty much has everything to accommodate our needs. It was the perfect way to social distance and to get away from quarantine life for a bit! Make sure to check out our video for the Yurt tour! Our journey then continues stopping over at one of the most unusual restaurants in Canada. The Coombs Old Country Market feature a mixture of shops, restaurants and home to the Goats On The Roof! Yes you heard that right, they have four-legged residents on the roof providing entertainment to the locals and tourist stopping by. The market also offers unique gift items, mouth watering bake goods and a wide variety of international foods that are hard to find in a regular grocery store. Make sure to also check the local shops, as we got our hands on a box of Billy G’s donuts and coffee from Billy Gruff’s Creamery for breakfast. Yup, this is the kind of place where you’ll loose track of time, we slowly realize that we have spent our whole morning just roaming around the Coombs Old Country Market. This is definitely one of the must see spots in Vancouver Island every time you pass by Coombs or if you’re heading to Tofino BC. Moving on to our trip, we made a quick detour and grabbed lunch at Qualicum Beach, BC. The Qualicum Beach has a long stretch of sand where people can walk along the shore, have a picnic and to do some water activities such as skim boarding, kayaking, stand-up paddle boards and so much more. It is a small laidback town were you can unwind and admire the beauty of the sunrise/sunset by the beach. Caping off this trip, we felt a little adventurous and explored BC's secret Hole In The Wall just outside Port Alberni. It has a unique hole in the wall from an obsolete water reservoir connection creating this hole where the creek flows through. It is totally worth the hike as this hidden jungle oasis has a waterfall and natural crystal clear pool.
