The life of a homeless family in the heart of the mountains, in a cold and dark cave, continues under the pressure of difficult and exhausting conditions. The cold of winter, the lack of basic facilities and the lack of proper shelter, confront this family with a new challenge every day. Today, the pregnant woman of the family—Ms. Masoumeh—was forced to travel the difficult mountain path to the city due to the extreme cold and the lack of medical facilities to get an ultrasound and make sure of the health of her fetus. This journey was very dangerous for her, who is in the sensitive months of pregnancy. With the efforts and support of kind operators, we were able to provide Ms. Shahin and her pregnant daughter Masoumeh, in these critical conditions and in the heart of a war-torn country, with warm clothes, suitable shoes and lighting equipment for the cave to at least alleviate their hardships a little.
