During a sound bath, you’re invited to simply rest and listen as healing tones and vibrations wash over you. Instruments like singing bowls create frequencies that help guide the nervous system out of “fight or flight” and into a parasympathetic state — the body’s natural mode for rest, repair, and restoration. As you listen, your brain waves may begin to slow, moving from busy beta waves into more meditative alpha and theta states. This can lead to a deep sense of relaxation, improved focus, emotional release, and a feeling of being gently “rebalanced” from the inside out. Many people experience reduced stress, a softened breath, eased muscle tension, and a quieting of mental chatter. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes if that feels good, and allow the sounds to support you — there’s nothing you need to do, nowhere you need to go.
