Federer Serve Secret (REVEALED): TENNIS SERVE Jeff Salzenstein reveals Federer's “phone booth” serve secret, which will help you to easily increase power on your tennis serve, as well as improve your technique. Most players struggle to get into a proper trophy position on their tennis serve and this powerful tip will help a lot Some of the common problems are having the elbow too low, or keeping the hand too far away from the body and head. Additionally, they lack relaxation on the hand and arm which limits their ability to drop the racquet and generate easy power on their tennis serve. Jeff breaks down the "Phone booth" serve tip into three main areas. Here’s a quick overview on each: One: Start in a throwing motion Grab a tennis ball , create a 90 degree angle position with your elbow as you keep it close to your ear and head. You’ll be in a similar position like a quarterback who’s getting ready to throw a ball in football. Then, you can add the shoulder turn to find that ideal trophy position. Once you have practiced this motion, you can grab your tennis racquet and practice shadow strokes from a half-serve position. Two: Get your racquet more vertical When you get to the trophy position, make sure that your racquet is more vertical up and down. Too often, players have their racquet too horizontal as a result of their grip or wrist position. Three: Keep your off arm totally straight Focus on getting your off arm completely straight to get into the phonebooth. Keep both arms relaxed. The dominant hand is close to the head, and the tossing hand is close to the chin. You want to reach a compact and efficient position prior to serve. The Phone booth secret serve tip will help you to develop the proper muscle memory to improve your tennis serve, and allow you to accelerate up to the ball for getting the easy power that you’re looking for.
