At the same time, burning mosques, once considered an absolute taboo, has become the norm of resistance to religious coercion. Protesters are no longer running away from the militias; they are confronting them face to face. Even those who stay home are not silent. In cities like Tehran, Mashhad, and Shiraz, a chilling ritual takes place every night: thousands of people go out onto their balconies and scream "Death to Khamenei." The neighborhood answers them with a resounding echo, a kind of chorus of collective rage that no internet shutdown can silence. This is psychological terror against the government, which understands that even inside its homes - it has already lost. The Iranian internet, despite all the blockades, has been filled with videos of citizens filming their television screens while screaming with joy. These videos find their way out in roundabout ways and prove that the spirit has not been broken. Silence should not be confused with surrender. Generation Z in Iran has passed the point of no return, they have learned to operate under the radar, they have learned to strike where it hurts, and most importantly, they have lost their fear. The West may be dozing, but in Iran - the night is just the beginning. In the face of the international community's outrageous silence , the youth of Iran need to know that they are not alone. They are fighting for their lives against the pitchforks and bullets of a murderous regime that spares no means. No matter what happens next, there is no scenario in which the Islamic Republic survives 2026 with its power intact. Too much has happened; too many uncontrollable yet intersecting factors are conspiring to erode the regime’s power. But that does not mean that revolution is inevitable and Iran will blossom into a free open society once more. The Islamic Republic has faced mass unrest before. Over the past 15 years, it has weathered repeated nationwide protest cycles. Each time, the pattern held: Demonstrations surged, the security services cracked down violently, and opposition networks fragmented. The regime survived intact. That history matters—but it no longer governs the present moment. The Islamic Republic is dying. It may suppress this round of protests. The leadership may survive this year.
