Morning Hip & Knee Stiffness? Try This Seated Qigong Do your hips or knees feel very stiff and painful when you first wake up in the morning? Joint stiffness can often happen with arthritis, autoimmune conditions, emotional stress, or poor sleep. When the joints feel tight and difficult to move, gentle seated Qigong can help restore circulation and allow Qi to begin flowing again. Today’s practice continues our 12 Treasures Qigong series with a gentle seated session designed to help ease hip and knee tension while calming the nervous system. Practice sequence: • Seated Self-Patting Qigong (extra attention to hips and knees) • Tracing the Meridians • Qi Shower • Embrace the World Qigong • Row Boat – Forward & Reverse (Knead the Dough) • Walk-in-Place Qigong – Forward & Reverse • Playing with the Qi Ball Qigong In the Qi Ball movement today, allow the elbow to drop slightly backward while the arms and palms follow a relaxed figure-8 movement. This helps alternate pressure from one side of the body to the other, encouraging the joints to release tension and improving sensory motor awareness (SMA). As you practice, imagine the invisible Qi Ball between your palms and enjoy the natural swing and relaxation through the body. Finish with a final Qi Shower to settle the Qi. Repeat the practice at home as needed and move slowly within a comfortable range. Safety Reminder Practice gently and within a comfortable range of motion. #hashtags #qigong #qigongforhealth #qigongforbeginners #qigonghealing #hippainrelief #kneepainrelief #autoimmunewellness #morningstiffness #kneepainrelief #naturalpainrelief #naturalpainmanagement #arthritisrelief #qigongforhealth #qigongpainrelief #movingmeditation #aileenjonglac #drbingkunhu #qigonghealing If any movement causes sharp pain, dizziness, or discomfort, pause and rest.
