Yesterday was a historic day - Yesterday marked Day 1 of the 4th Undiagnosed Hackathon • the first in India • the first in Asia In Hyderabad, around 130 collaborators — clinicians, geneticists, bioinformaticians, AI specialists and researchers — came together with 20 families, united by one shared hope: a diagnosis. This year, we were especially honoured to have Dave Pearce, Chair of IRDiRC, as our Master of Ceremony — helping guide a truly unforgettable opening. And then… the bell rang •  Not once. • But several times. Each ring meant that a child received a diagnosis — answers after years of uncertainty. Moments like these remind us why we do this work and what becomes possible when global collaboration, cutting-edge science and lived experience come together.
