The old Grade II listed signal box still stands beside this level crossing, kept and preserved as a museum which opens monthly most months, which ceased operation in 1986. A new alarm has been fitted in the corner of the level crossing beside this signal box, and the double lights across the road from it are also both new. However, both are normally-oriented wigwags / road traffic lights despite how badly struck the lower of the two became, and it's intriguing as to why there's not a thin, portrait-oriented one there instead. The noise of both alarms reverberates quite a bit in this environment, creating quite a lot of noise. You can catch the red lights flashing simultaneously again right at the end of the third clip as the barriers raise, almost like a 'tail-ring' malfunction but without the alarms re-activating. It's un-clear as to why there was a barrier delay in this clip too. Train details sourced from: Real Time Trains: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/sear...
