Resins can be made up of many different compounds - including solvents, waxes, surfactants, and semi-solid resin particles that come with their own chemical compatibility challenges. In some cases, resins contain pigments that bring abrasive wear concerns. Resins can be used in many products like polyurethanes, epoxies, and other adhesives. The 1124A Series™ is cast iron and features Viking Pump's O-Pro® Barrier seal - which resists abrasives. The 1124A Series™ has low shear capabilities and a capacity up to 400 gallons per minute. The 4624B Series™ is also cast iron with standard hardened materials and many different sealing options. This series has a capacity up to 180 gallons per minute. Finally, the 4127C Series™ is 316 stainless steel with high viscosity and abrasive resistant sealing options. This series has standard hardened materials and a capacity up to 320 gallons per minute.
