Peter and Molly Fritzler immigrated to Kansas in 1908 where they started a family. They were successful farmers and cattle ranches. In 1913, they ventured north to Alberta in a covered wagon for a life of adventure and prosperity. To house their growing family of 9 children, a large house and barn was built in 1925. A life well-lived, Peter and Molly retired to Calgary. The adult children ran the family farm and ranching business. It's speculated the house was left vacant in the mid 1960's when the youngest Fritzler moved away with his own young family. Today (2025), the house remains in the family and is owned by one of Peter's Grandsons. Peter and Molly had 31 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Explore the abandoned family home, the original homestead, workshop and massive barn. What was once a busy and prosperous farm and cattle ranch, the Fritzler house now stands solid on the foundation built by an even stronger family. Permission Required. I don't give out locations or landowner contact information. Thanks for understanding. Information collected has been researched, fact checked and verified to the best of my ability.
