This is a short video of highlights from the Aug. 10, 1968 Major League Baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and the Tigers in Detroit, won by the Tigers, 4-3. It is from the WHDH-TV in Boston broadcast, with Ken Coleman on play by play. Detroit's Mickey Lolich came on in a 3-3 tie in the top of the eighth with men on first and third and got out of that jam, then after a Norm Cash solo homer gave the Tigers the lead in the bottom half worked a scoreless ninth to get the win. The lefty struck out four in his 1 2/3 innings, including Ken Harrelson looking to end the ballgame. I had no idea he was being used in relief this far into The Year of the Tiger, but he also worked five innings in relief the next day against the Red Sox and picked up another win.
