Enduring Activity: 2021 Pediatric Grand Rounds “An Update on Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease” Target Audience This activity is targeted toward all general pediatric physicians and pediatric subspecialists in the community. Statement of Need Pediatric grand rounds provide physicians a continuous update on emerging trends in caring for the pediatric patient, including new scientific discoveries that provide the underpinning of current pediatric practice. This activity will inform physicians about other issues involving professionalism, socioeconomic issues, and topics related to the ACMGE core competencies. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 1. A quick review of Pediatric Inflammatory Disease (IBD) 2. An introduction to the ImproveCareNetwork: a chronic care network working to improve the quality of care of children with IBD. 3. Discuss emerging new treatment for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Faculty Maria F.
