Not your typical #honeybee #swarm call, when someone says “we were cutting a tree down and cut right into a colony of #bees… now they are everywhere...can you come get them.." We love a challenge and love when we can attempt to add local feral colony genetics in our apiary. Since we didn't have the right tools on the job site to do a formal cut-out we opted to transport the tree hive back to our apiary and manage it in a unique way until we were ready to dissect it properly. These ladies had already been through a lot and needed to settle in their new location before we disrupt them again to get them out of the tree cavity.
