Differences: WAKARU and SHIRU / SHITTEIRU (I know / I don't know / I understand) Hi! Did you know that "しらない" can mean "I DON'T CARE" as well? I've seen my students make this mistake quite a lot. Also, the difference between しってる/ わかる can be a bit confusing to Japanese learners, so I hope with this video, it will be clear and you can use them cinfidently! I hope you are well and finding motivation to learn Japanese for the next trip next year! IMPORTANT In case you're wondering, people also say "しらないです。” instead of しりません。 It's considered to be grammatically INCORRECT. BUT!! people do use it in REAL LIFE. And it's okay to say しらないです。because people do use it. But please know that しりません is what you need to write for the exam!
