A fairly quiet end to a very quiet season of car racing at Mallory Park. Quiet because there was sod all of it actually going on here. 4 Meetings all year that were memorable for their great racing as usual, particularly this one with Chris Dear taking the Classic Stock Hatch crown with one hell of a decisive photo finish in Race 1. Overall enjoyable but not as good as last years 750 meet, but with a couple of accidents caused by silly behaviour, something that I think should carry a Mallory specific penalty to maybe make people actually use their mirrors here, a cool meeting with Clive Hudson, last seen here out cold and sustaining one of the biggest accidents we've ever seen, the international audience in the form of JD Media (thats a channel worth checking out) and spare a thought for the Lanyi family in Formula Vee too who seemed to be cursed with some astoundingly bad luck this weekend. Lets hope next year we get some more events on at Mallory Park, but I won't get my hopes up...
