Meet two gardeners who are not only full of practical advice but combine their garden knowledge with a deeply personal take on how looking after a patch of land can grow us as individuals and also help to grow a better world. Adam Frost and Poppy Okotcha in conversation with Sally Flatman, host of the podcast Our Plant Stories. In this session, garden designer and Gardeners’ World presenter Adam Frost explored the themes of his book For the Love of Plants – a very personal wander through his own garden and a reflection on the plants that have shaped his life. Poppy Okotcha discussed her book A Wilder Way: How Gardens Grow Us, in which she writes about her relationship with her wild little garden in Devon, working with the seasons and nature, and how the small joys of engaging with the natural world are imperative for our physical and emotional wellbeing.
